MD from Jiaotong University Medical School（1986）. He underwent residence training at Ankang Center Hospital(1986-1988), trained in Surgical Oncology at Peking Union Medical College, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences(1988-1991), in General Surgery at  Xuanwu Hospital Capital Medical University (1992-1995), was awarded a Ph.D in Surgery from Capital Medical University（1995-1998）, trained and worked in the Department of Surgery at Innsbruck University, Austria( 1997-1998); and was a fellow in Gastro-Intestine and hepatology at the Baylor College of Medicine(2000-2002）. He was an attending Surgeon and vice director in the Department of Surgery, Xuanwu Hospital from 1999-2004, a research associate/surgical first assistant at University of Virginia, School of Medicine( 2004-2014). He has been an attending Surgeon and director at Hainan Cancer Hospital since 2015. He has had more than 30 years’ practice in General Surgery, and performed more than 9,000 cases of surgical procedures by open or laparoscopic routes in abdominal, soft tissue thyroid, breast, and anal-rectum. He has had nearly 80 peer- reviewed publications.
