The interventional center is one of the key specialties in our hospital. The department has two IGS540 digital subtraction systems imported by the GE Company. The thermal ablation equipment includes one radiofrequency ablation machine and one microwave ablation machine.
The department has a strong technical force and has an independent interventional central ward with 56 beds and 36 medical personnel, including 1 chief physician, 1 deputy chief physician, 2 attending physicians, 2 resident doctors and 2 doctors who have postgraduate degrees. Chief physician Niu Huimin, director of academic leadership, has engaged in clinical, teaching, and scientific research in interventional medicine for more than 30 years. He personally performed more than 30,000 interventional operations and has rich clinical experience with patients from all over the country.
Most of the technical treatment projects and treatment levels are at a leading national level or advanced level. The business includes tumor intervention, peripheral vascular intervention, comprehensive intervention, nerve intervention, gynecological intervention, spinal intervention and so on. Interventional treatment of various solid tumors: benign and malignant solid tumors and their complications are treated with the concept of comprehensive individualized tumor treatment for primary liver cancer, lung cancer, kidney cancer, endometrial carcinoma and cervical cancer, on the basis of arterial chemoembolization or arterial infusion chemotherapy. Liver metastases and other malignant solid tumors are combined with chemical ablation, radiofrequency ablation, particle ablation, microwave ablation, nano-ablation, and immunotherapy. The therapeutic effect is good. The drug-eluting beads, which were first developed by our department, have achieved satisfactory results in the treatment of advanced giant breast cancer, and the treatment of yttrium 90 radioactive microspheres in liver cancer is about to be introduced and put into clinical use for the first time in China. The stents were used to reconstruct the anatomical structure of patients with solid tumors such as digestive tract biliary tract and vena cava stenosis to restore the physiological function of the patients. The transarterial embolization was used to improve the successful rate of salvage, such as hemorrhage caused by solid tumors, hemorrhage of vascular lesions of various organs, postoperative bleeding and gynecological bleeding.
