Introduction

The Breast Center of Hainan Cancer Hospital undertakes the responsibilities of preventing and screening of the “two cancers” in Hainan Province. It is the first comprehensive breast cancer in Hainan, offering prevention, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and wellness care. Our center is equipped with nationally and internationally advanced diagnostic and treatment systems. In addition to color ultrasound, mammography, and breast MRI, we also have image-guided techniques such as ultrasound-guided core needle biopsy and vacuum-assisted breast biopsy (also known as Minimally Invasive Breast Biopsy) which is a newer way for performing breast biopsy. The procedure also is able to remove more tissue than core needle biopsy could do. Patients can enjoy our safe, non-invasive, inexpensive, and comfortable diagnosis and treatment techniques.

Scope of treatment

The Breast Center conducts full-scale management of benign and malignant breast tumors, and performs one-stop services, which includes surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, endocrine therapy, biological targeted therapy and follow-up. We can make most of the advantages of our laboratory and pathology department to offer the best services for patients. Our comprehensive care features a standardized oncology treatment system by multiple disciplines.

Our Doctors

The Breast Center currently has a professional medical team of 16 doctors. Love and enthusiasm are the core value of this team. Our center maintains collaboration with experts from Tianjin Tumor Hospital. And we offer individualized and comprehensive treatment, providing patients with the best treatment experience.

Techniques

The Breast Center’s expertise includes sentinel lymph node biopsy, which eliminates axillary dissection and preserves the arm function of the affected limb as much as possible. In addition to the typical surgeries, our center is also committed to breast reconstruction, and thus improve the quality of life for our patients, so they feel complete and confident. In addition, for the treatment of non-lactating mastitis, we have seen the positive result in combining traditional Chinese medicine and physiotherapy.
